HEC Issue Notification Regarding the Close of Educational Institutes 2021

The Pakistani Higher Education Commission has announced it will close educational institutions due to the rapid increase in the number of coronavirus cases. In this regard, a notice has been issued by the relevant authorities to inform the students. According to the notice, all colleges and universities will remain closed from September 4, 2021, to 11 September 2021. This decision applies to all educational institutions. In addition, the higher education commission also instructed students to hand out immunizations to their siblings. It is compulsory for all students to be vaccinated according to government directives.

Performance of Annual Tests:

Earlier, education boards announced the introduction of the annual Grade 9 exams. Now the tests are done according to the specified schedule. Authorities have told students that the annual exams for Grade 9 will not be delayed and that any holiday announcement will affect the test program and that baptism candidates will appear on the exam according to a given date. It is worth mentioning here that the annual exams for class 10, class 11, and class 12 have been done and now students are waiting for the announcement of the result.

Close of Punjab Schools 2021:

Earlier, Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas had announced that all public and private schools would remain closed until September 11, 2021. The decision was made by authorities after reviewing the status of the coronavirus epidemic. The Minister of Education also instructed students to stay home and follow all available precautions to protect themselves from the coronavirus. A notice has also been issued in this regard.
